The traditional snaffle has been re-engineered into this superior product that limits any nutcracker action and removes the central link that is opening and closing right in the middle of the horses tongue with the inevitable pinching of the tongue by that joint. So at last we have a design that allows the rider to use tongue pressure without pain and limits the extent the bit folds against the sides of the horses mouth so that excessive closure is avoided over the sensitive bars of the mouth.
Horses exhibit better carriage, greater relaxation onto the bit, and hind quarter engagement is improved.
Behaviour such as head shaking, and running through the riders hands, bolting or rearing are either eliminated or reduced dramatically. The bit is used for horses that put the tongue over the bit or out of the side of the mouth with great success.
