The Seaver SAFEFIT Airbag Riding Vest is a comfortable and sleek design that is designed to provide high levels of protection to vital areas of your upper body in the event of a fall. It is inflated by a CO2, which sits securely in the front of vest. When the rider separates from the saddle, the canister is activated by the release of a lanyard that is clipped from the vest onto an attachment on the saddle. The canister inflates the airbag vest in approximately 0.09 to 0.17 seconds, giving increased protection to the back, lumbar area, neck, cervical spine, rib cage, pelvis and sacrum before impact.
Once the vest has been activated, the canister can be easily replaced so that the vest can be used again. The vest must be used with a canister.
Constructed from weatherproof stretch fabric with mesh panels and weighing around 600g (for a medium size), it allows superb freedom to move, allowing you to ride comfortably, whether you are hacking, schooling or jumping, all year around.

The SAFEFIT vest can be combined with the SAFERIDE option offered on the Seaver application. When activated on your phone, your family and friends are alerted in the event of a fall and can geolocate you to rescue you.
A one-year SAFERIDE subscription is offered with every order of the SAFEFIT. Along with the airbag vest, you will receive an activation code to enter directly on the Seaver mobile application.
