Reported benefits of magnetic horse rugs
Magnetic horse rugs are used by some horse owners as part of their equine care routine. Reported benefits include supporting circulation, helping to manage muscle tension and assisting post-exercise care. However, these effects are not guaranteed, and scientific evidence for the benefits of static magnetic therapy in horses is limited.
How to use your Magni-Teque Magnetic Horse Rug
Introduce the rug gradually and follow Premier Equine’s current instructions for daily wear time. The horse must be dry, at rest and have returned to a normal temperature after exercise before the rug is applied. Do not use the rug during exercise or on a wet or sweaty horse.
Safety information
- Do not use over open wounds.
- Do not use near pacemakers.
- Do not use on mares in foal.
- Follow the manufacturer's full instructions and contraindications before use.
- Consult your veterinary surgeon if your horse has a health concern or symptoms persist.
