Crafted from luxurious pre-oiled calfskin leather, the Legend Pony Saddle offers outstanding grip, softness and durability from the very first ride. Built Around the Pony

At the heart of the saddle is the lightweight Pessoa Legacy Pony Carbon Fibre Tree, engineered specifically to suit the proportions and conformation of ponies. The tree promotes even weight distribution while allowing unrestricted shoulder movement and maintaining excellent saddle stability during jumping and fast-paced work.

The saddle incorporates the X-Change® Series 2 Interchangeable Gullet System, enabling a qualified saddle fitter to adjust the tree width as your pony develops muscle, changes condition or matures. This makes the Legend Pony an excellent long-term investment for growing ponies or those whose shape changes throughout the season.

Designed for Young Riders

The ergonomically balanced seat encourages a secure and effective riding position, helping young riders maintain confidence over fences while allowing freedom to move with the pony.

Velcro-adjustable knee blocks enable the leg support to be customised to suit different rider builds and preferred riding styles, while the traditional double-flap construction provides excellent stability, comfort and a familiar feel.

To accommodate a wide range of riders, the Legend Pony Saddle is available with Standard, Forward, Long and Long Forward flap options, ensuring an optimum fit for varying leg lengths and disciplines.

Advanced Panel Design

The saddle features AMS (Advanced Moulding System) Synthetic Silicon Wool panels, designed to distribute pressure evenly across the pony's back while maintaining consistent support. Combined with a generous gullet channel, the panels provide excellent spinal clearance and encourage unrestricted movement throughout the back.

The lightweight construction, weighing approximately 4.5 kg, makes the saddle easy for younger riders to handle while contributing to the pony's overall comfort.

Professional Saddle Fitting Recommended

The Pessoa Legend Pony Jump Saddle is supplied with a Medium X-Change® Series 2 gullet plate as standard. Alternative gullet plates are available separately, allowing the saddle to be professionally adjusted to suit your pony's individual conformation.

For optimum comfort, performance and saddle longevity, we recommend that every Pessoa saddle is professionally fitted by a qualified saddle fitter to ensure the correct tree width, panel balance and overall fit for both pony and rider.
