Built with comfort as a priority for both horse and rider, the Gen X Elite is particularly well suited to Thoroughbreds, Sport Horses and Warmbloods with low to medium withers. Its carefully designed tree and panel configuration promotes excellent saddle balance, helping riders maintain an effective position while encouraging the horse to work uphill, engage the hindquarters and produce the impulsion needed for technical tracks and larger fences.
Crafted from luxurious pre-oiled calfskin leather, the saddle provides exceptional grip and a soft, broken-in feel from the very first ride. The premium chrome-free leather combines durability with classic Pessoa craftsmanship, making it ideal for both everyday training and competition.
At the heart of the saddle is Pessoa's innovative Legacy Carbon Fibre Tree, offering the perfect combination of strength, flexibility and lightweight performance. Weighing approximately 6kg, the Gen X Elite reduces unnecessary weight while maintaining excellent stability and rider support.
The X-Change® Series 2 interchangeable gullet system allows the saddle width to be professionally adjusted as your horse develops throughout the season, making it a practical choice for horses whose shape changes with work and fitness.
For a personalised riding position, the saddle features Velcro-adjustable knee blocks, allowing riders to tailor leg support to their individual preference. The advanced AMS (Air Memory System) synthetic silicon wool panels evenly distribute pressure across the horse's back while maintaining excellent spinal clearance for maximum comfort and freedom of movement.
Available with a choice of Standard, Forward, Long or Long Forward flaps, the Pessoa Gen X Elite can be matched to a variety of rider builds and leg lengths, promoting a natural lower leg position and greater security over fences.
