Crafted from luxurious chrome-free pre-oiled calfskin leather, the Pessoa Amo Junior provides exceptional softness, grip and durability. The naturally supple leather allows young riders to develop an independent, balanced position while maintaining close communication with their pony.

The ergonomically designed seat supports a secure jumping position, encouraging confidence over fences without restricting the rider's movement.

Lightweight Carbon Fibre Performance

At the heart of the saddle is the Pessoa Legacy Pony Carbon Fibre Tree, combining outstanding strength with an exceptionally lightweight design. Weighing approximately 4.5 kg, the saddle is easy for young riders to handle while providing excellent stability and balance during training and competition.

The lightweight tree has been specifically designed for pony conformation, helping to distribute the rider's weight evenly while allowing unrestricted shoulder movement and freedom through the back.

Adjustable Fit for Growing Ponies

The Amo Junior incorporates the X-Change® Series 2 Interchangeable Gullet System, allowing a qualified saddle fitter to alter the tree width as your pony develops muscle, matures or changes condition throughout the year. This makes the saddle an excellent long-term investment for ponies whose shape evolves over time.

The AMS (Advanced Moulding System) Synthetic Silicon Wool panels provide consistent cushioning and even pressure distribution across the pony's back. Combined with a generous gullet channel, they promote excellent spinal clearance and contribute to your pony's long-term comfort and performance.

Designed Around the Rider

The Velcro-adjustable knee blocks can be positioned to suit individual leg length and preferred riding style, allowing young riders to achieve personalised support and greater confidence over fences.

Traditional double-flap construction provides a familiar feel and excellent stability, while short Austrian billets, designed specifically for pony saddles, help create a neat and secure girthing arrangement.

To accommodate different rider builds and disciplines, the Pessoa Amo Junior is available with Standard, Forward, Long and Long Forward flap options, ensuring an individual fit and optimum leg position.

Gullet System

The Pessoa Amo Junior Jump Saddle is fitted with the X-Change® Series 2 Interchangeable Gullet System, allowing the tree width to be professionally adjusted to accommodate a wide range of pony conformations. Each saddle is supplied with a Medium gullet plate as standard, with alternative widths available separately.
