INSU-FOAM ULTRA Technology
Most GRUBS® rubber boots use our self-insulating INSU-FOAM ULTRA bootie, a waterproof and insulating material exceeding traditional membrane and foam insulation performance. Made with a 300% stretch Chloroprene, it is lined with 4-way stretch SUPER-DRI terry knit for moisture wicking.
This micro-cellular structure blocks heat transfer while staying waterproof. Its compression set is less than 7%, keeping the boot soft and comfortable longer than traditional SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) foams used by competitors.
5.0 TECHNOLOGY
The bootie is lined with moisture-wicking SUPER-DRI terry knit, offering 100% stretch to accommodate different calf sizes. The temperature-neutral INSU-FOAM ULTRA keeps the wearer comfortable in temperatures from 85ºF to sub-zero for extended periods.
TRAX Sole
The TRAX outsole is made of DURAPRENE rubber and integrates HEXZORB zones for grip, traction, stability, and brakingdesigned to move with the natural action of the foot.

Note: Our Wellington Boots include a 15mm allowance for wool blend or combination socks.
We recommend choosing the same size as your regular footwear. For half sizes, sizing down is advised due to the built-in allowance.
