The Fairfax Narrow Gauge Girth is designed for use with dressage with monoflap event saddles on horses with less room through the chest and often with a more forward girth groove, and so as a result the girth width needs to be slimmed down to maximise the room available behind the elbow for when the leg is striding to the back position during movement.
