The Spinner 2.5 Ring sits on top of the horses tongue and as a result stops the horse putting its tongue over the bit. A Ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure as well creating leverage on the mouthpiece.
As a result, the 2 ½ ring version is the softest version of ring bit. The ½ ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll.
Additionally, all our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:
- Oxidises easily
- Stimulates salivation
- Helps bit acceptance
- Is warm and sweet
