The Myler MBO4 Kimberwick is made of Stainless Steel and is one of the MBO4 range of bits designed to provide more stopping ability due to the nature of the action of the bit when used on the inner rings of the eggbutt sides, especially if a curb chain is used in addition. The bit is a low Port Comfort Snaffle (MB 04) with Copper Inlay to the mouth piece.
The low port accommodates horses with slightly larger tongues who need more space under the mouth piece but as the rein is taken up the port will tilt forwards and downwards onto the tongue and as soon as the horse responds and the riders hand lightens in reward the space beneath the tongue returns.
