Furthermore, this differs from a Dr Bristol which sits horizontally with the edge of the plate on the tongue.

A Ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure as well creating leverage on the mouthpiece. As a result, the 2 ½ ring version is the softest version of ring bit. The ½ ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll.

Additionally, all bomber bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:

Oxidises easily

Encourages salivation

Helps bit acceptance

Is warm and sweet

Please note the blue will fade with use.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0953/1405/1417/files/bombers-bits-bc45-control-plate-2.5-ring-bit-13393-p.jpg?v=1775803033
